With no doubt this is the best place we stayed in Raja Ampat for us. Andy and Esni make really the best so every single thing is at the best quality and experience possible. The food is good. The room is very comfortable. The reef in front is stunning. The day trip with Esni was memorable. We will come back for sure!

Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life.
The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :)
Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!
Manokwari
Featuring sea views, Amban Beach House provides accommodation with balcony, around less than 1 km from Petrus Kafiar Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. Everything was perfect, nice place to come and unwind. If you come from the mountains or the city it is nice to relax here at the beach. Healthy food, very helpful staff and owners. There are only a couple of small shops in the Amban area but the owners were super kind to give me a ride to the city of Manokwari where there is a mall and even a cinema. Also many places to eat in town. I had a really good time here, the owners go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Besir
Facing the seafront in Besir, GAM BAY bungalow's features a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house provides mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Amazing location. The view from the rooms was stunning! Aron, the owner, is a really kind and helpful guy, friendly and keen to help in anything you need. The food was good, and overall, the experience was wonderful. As a place in a remote island like this, you can't expect the best facilities but they were in good condition and clean. The bungalows, bathrooms, and dining area are well cared out and clean. There are nice spots around the island to watch the sunset and do snorkeling. They also offer great tours around the area.
Pulau Mansuar

Kri

Some units in the guest house have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. Some units have a seating area and/or a balcony.
Atmosphere and Activities: Gibran's homestay has the best atmosphere among all the places we visited in Raja Ampat. They make sure everyone is happy with their stay, and every meal is an occasion for chatting with the other guests. There is a different activity (e.g., snorkeling tour) every day, and the plan is flexible to accommodate guests' needs. Diving can also be easily arranged with other homestays on Kri.
Rooms and Common Spaces: The bungalow is basic but clean, the bed is comfortable with fresh sheets, and the large hammock on the deck is definitely the best we’ve had in RA—relaxing there is just amazing. The shared bathrooms are clean, and the shower is very powerful. The food is always different and tasty (more than in other places).
Location: Kri's south bay is wonderful. From your room, you have an incredible view, with easy access to the sea and the reef. You can swim to the reef, and during low tide, use one of the nearby jetties. The long, white sandy beach is worth a walk as well (you can see the beach from your room). The house reef is beautiful, and the current is less strong than in other areas, which makes snorkeling very enjoyable.
Sorong
Located in Sorong, Baronda Guest House features a shared lounge. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service.
A car rental service is available at Baronda Guest House.
I would like to recommend Báronda Guest House .It was clean.airconditioned, and comfortable also located away from croud and noise.
Sorong

Waisai
Situated on the beachfront in Waisai, Coco Huts Guest House has a private beach area. The property features sea and mountain views. The guest house has a steam room, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace, and guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant. We had a really special time at the Coco Huts homestay. The family put a lot of heart and effort into making our stay a great experience. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Delicious and varied food, clean bathroom facilities (water containers were constantly replenished), great ocean view from the bungalow. The host took us on a number of trips, including a trip to Wayag, which were really well-organized, and we felt super safe on the boat as well as snorkeling with a local guide (the reefs in the area are amazing). The transfer back to Waisai was well-organized as well. If you’re looking for a quiet get-away from the more crowded areas like Piaynemo, this is definitely a good choice.
Yennanas Besir
Offering sea views, Amfriwen Homestay in Yennanas Besir offers accommodation, a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We loved our stay at Blue sea, Paulus is a super nice host and a great snorkeling guide who knows by heart the islands and its secrets. Thanks to him, we could see Manta and dolphins from the boat and a lot of things in the water (nudibranches, sea horse, sharks, etc.) The accommodation was one of the best we had in Raja ampat (you can see walking sharks passing below and cuscus in the trees) and the meals were very good. We will return one day for sure.
This is decent place run by kind and professional people. It is surprisingly spacious, fairly clean and with good AC. Only downside for me was that it is far from places to eat or real grocery shop. Very good value for money and super cheap Grab ride to airport ( 30000 INR ).
Very quiet despite being opposite a mosque. Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved staying here. Walkable into town. Food was good and we had an evening meal.
Very clean Easy and good communication Lots of thought has gone into making this a good experience - amazing value, clean, lockers Great recommendations from host and good trip up to the sunset look out point - very beautiful - thank you!
Very clean, very friendly and helpful hosts
Cheap and cheerful
Quiet area. Well priced with easy reach to airport🙂
Quiet, clean accommodation, friendly hosts
The hosts gave us a warm and hearty welcome. Communication before the stay was easy. The hosts arranged us an early morning breakfast before our morning flight and a taxi to the airport. The bedrooms had air conditioning. The guest house is beside a mosque, so the prayers can be heard quite well in the apartment.
