All restaurants and cafes at walking distance. The hotel has an amazing terrace with sea view for breakfast or cocktails. Very cozy and relaxing stay. Their breakfast is delicious.

Xantha is great for two reasons: the stunning view of the Pagasetic Gulf, the mountains and Volos; and the really wonderful lady who is now running the place (and who also speaks very good English). One should take into account that the road up is steep, narrow and at some places winding, not an easy one, and it's best to have a good engine, but it's well worth it for the view from your little balcony and the friendliness and generosity of the hostess: who not only invited me to eat as many of the ripe figs from the trees as I possibly could, but even paid my bill with the dinner delivery man (you can order food up) since I was in the shower!... As well as your own balcony, there's also a verandah off the drawing room with its own view of the Gulf, and the outside patio sitting area is especially nice. There's an open bar in the main drawing room of the hotel where you can make yourself herb tea from a varied selection, or of course coffee. So unless you would find the drive up difficult, Xantha is very highly recommended!

Breakfast was great, with different fresh products daily. The public space and the rooms are decorated with good taste and spotlessly clean. All in all' we hade a great 3 nights stay. Great appartman for both short and longer stay, excellent location very close to the sea and the centre. Clean and cosy with great host, we enjoyed it!
