The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay here. The location was perfect, the host was so helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, the grounds are pretty. A special bonus- a yoga mat for guests to use! The common room gave us an opportunity to meet interesting international travelers.

This recently renovated guest house features a building dating back to 2003, which is 22 km from the Jaguar Rescue Center. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. It was absolutely perfect! Many thanks for their warm welcome and kindness. I can only recommend this place – it’s superbly located, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. 😊
