Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free maps of Pingyao is offered. This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

Pingyao Xinglongyi Inn is located 20 minutes' drive from Pingyao High-Speed Train Station. Taiyuan Wusu International Airport is a 2-hour car journey away. We have never slept in a higher quality bedding! The receptionist is extremely helpful. She even helped with train and attractions booking for other locations. The courtyard is cozy, and there are tables and chairs for hanging out.

Coming with local setup, each room here will provide you with a cable TV and air conditioning. Complete with an electric kettle, the dining area also has a dining table. Wooden bed with Chinese red quilt and a small table, wooden furniture and candle light create cosy ambience. The traditional Kang bed would ensure a nice sleeping experience. Featuring a shower, bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The hotel is wonderful. The host is speaking excellent English. One day was not enough for visiting the city. I recommend at least 2 days.

All units include a patio and a satellite flat-screen TV equipped with cable channels, as well as air conditioning and heating.
