Wi-Fi is available in the entire building for free. I went on a solo hiking vacation to Locarno, and Pensione Olanda exceeded my expectations. Davide and Sabrina are great hosts—very empathetic to guests' needs. The shared bathroom wasn't a problem; a bathrobe was ready in the room, and free fruit, tea, and coffee facilities were available. The place offers a beautiful view of the lake. You can sit for hours on the terrace in the evening and simply take it all in. This place is a true labor of love—you will feel welcome and thoroughly enjoy your stay. The rooms are impeccably tidy. I loved the décor and the attention to detail that truly makes your heart smile. The vegetarian breakfast is excellent, with homemade jams, banana bread, and a great variety of fruits and cheeses. I absolutely loved my stay there! This is definitely a place you’ll want to return to.

This is a family business hotel, they care about all fine details. The location as seen from pics is few meters from the lake promenade. It is less than 5 min walk from Ascona centro bus station. Also 3 min from ship station. You ve access to many restaurants along the promenade.The staff are very friendly and caring. The room is modern and big enough and the bathroom is big, new, and modern. Beds are comfy, shower is nice. Cleanilness is great, they provide daily water, there is a coffee capsule machine. You receive as well Ticino ticket to use public transport during all your stay. Breakfast buffet is great regarding variabilities and you can sit in the terrace by the yard in nice weather. You are very well served from the staff during breakfast. They have a cute dog called melody that greets you on arrival every time. On leaving, we got a very nice freshly wooden oven backed bread as a present. Excellent value of money.

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a heated outdoor swimming pool are available from May to September, inviting you to relax under the sun. Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature, right next to a forest; very child-friendly! Very clean, colourful and cosy apartment!
