The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a table and chairs on the patio in front of the room where we had a filling breakfast each morning. The host was very thorough in acquainting us with the features of the room and providing us with guidance on the options for exploring the region. Our walks through the village to the train station each morning as we started that day’s adventures were pleasant as we marveled at the traditional Swiss homes, the lovely gardens, and the mountain peaks surrounding us. We were glad we had chosen to stay outside Interlaken - the atmosphere was quiet and friendly.

Easy location to train station. Entry is tucked behind the bar which took us a minute to figure out. Beds were very comfortable. Back patio looking onto Thun Castle was a bonus! Thun is not touristy and that was a true delight!
