The terrace is very nice, allows to sit outside and rest/eat. Few notes for visitors, as i myself like to read for information; Montreux is on hills, take into consideration that even if close to the lake, the path can be steep and not convenient for everyone by foot. there is a bus to use of course. the apartment has a bedroom and living room where there is sofa that you can open for additional 2 people, but in my opinion, the sofa is good for children, less for adults, possible to sleep but not ideal.

Being the first time in Geneva and from overseas we had a lot of questions, and he helped with every single one. The breakfasts were excellent. The room beautiful, spacy and super clean. Really, everything was perfect.

Centrally located in Vevey, at the Market Place and Old Town and just 30 metres from Lake Geneva, Guest House Le Charlot offers modernly furnished rooms and a coffee bar on site serving local wines and sandwiches made of regional products. View, comfortable bed, big rooms. The host Julien was most accommodating. We were early and it was raining quite bad, he let us in early to drop off our luggage.

The location is great, especially if you need to catch an early train to the airport, as it is very close to the station. I felt very safe in the pension, and the staff were delightful and welcoming.
