The place is very clean. It has everything you need, a great shower (strong water pressure), hair dryer and ironing facility. Icing on the cake for a spacious room, spacious bathroom, and the owner is very responsive. I had arrived very late past midnight and she had accommodated for us, in which I am thankful. If I need to stay around the area, definitely will choose this place again!

What a lovely place to stay in Penang. I absolutely loved the architecture - it has a charming cultural vibe, right in the middle of George Town where you can walk to everything. So many nice restaurants around too (but if you're indecisive like me, just message them on WhatsApp, they reply instantly, even to my very random questions... thank you for your patience!). The staff are genuinely the sweetest. Ashan greeted us on the first day with such warmth, and everyone we met was kind, generous, and just really good people. One even showed my dad how to play a local board game - such a sweet moment ❤️✌️ I feel bad I didn’t ask for all your names. I really should have. But to the whole team, thank you so much for making our stay so easy and memorable. You made Penang feel extra special 💕

This guest house is a perfect place to stay when in Georgetown. The location is great, only a short walk from the busy area, bus stops and other landmarks in the town. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in close proximity. Shane and his wife are brilliant hosts. They were so welcoming and shared some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This house has great facilities, a big common kitchen area where there was fresh bread in the morning for the guests was a peak. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Check in was super easy. I definitely recommend this property if you are visiting Penang!

This is truly a hidden gem. My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and can't wait to come back. Shane has been an amazing host. His response via WhatsApp was almost instant and he was so helpful. The shop house was PERFECT!! House was very clean, bathrooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The ac was working well and there were ceiling fans. We had everything we could need in the house. I loved the little backyard at the back. Location couldn't get any better. Quiet street right in the hub of activities. The pubs, restaurants and amenities were all within a stones throw away. All in all, this is one of the most comfortable and beautiful homes we have had the pleasure to stay in. The local bread at the dining table, the welcoming hand written notes and the suggested travel suggestions, all were so appreciated

If you're looking to experience staying in modern heritage house, this is the place to be. There is a shared kitchenette with microwave oven, filtered water, mini fridge. Busy street by day but quiet and peaceful at night. Walking distance to almost everything. We love our room, it's clean, spacious and good view from the window. Air con and Wifi were strong too. Not forgetting to mention, the staff were absolute helpful. The reservation team is literally one message away and they are always ready to help.
