We came to Merzouga for an overnight stay at a desert camp and added this stop for an extra night beforehand—which turned out to be perfect for a little rest in the middle of our road trip. There’s free parking, and we were able to park our car right in front of our room entrance, which was super convenient. The property is within walking distance of the dunes, and there’s a small supermarket about 4 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool. The water was quite cold (we visited in late April), but with the heat outside, it was actually perfect for cooling off. We loved our room—it looked just like in the photos. It was very clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, a mirror, and hangers for clothes. Even though it was hot outside, the room stayed pleasantly cool. We booked dinner for 130 DH (around 13€) per person), and both dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind—we were even allowed to stay in the pool area after checkout, which we really appreciated. You could easily stay even 2 nights or more if you’re looking to unwind—this place is truly a gem.

Perfect location with full panoramic view on the sand dunes, from the room, from the garden and from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was opulent with different kinds of bread, pancakes and omelette. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Nothing left to wish for.

The host and his helper were super friendly and they helped me in informing all about their village and life, in general. The place is beautiful, if you want to experience a traditional and authentic life in riad, away from the hassle of big cities, I hardly recommend this place. The breakfast was good and dinner too. I'd love to visit this place again, just to stay and explore the village lifestyle. Thank you very much for making my stay amazing.

Absolutely loved this super friendly place and highly recommend it. Arrived early morning and got our room and breakfast at 7. We were treated like family and got all dreams fulfilled when the owner planned and arranged a 4 wheeldrive tour and a 2 days 2 nights cameltrip in the dunes, staying with locals and sleeping under the sky for just the two of us and a guide. He knows everything and everyone - nothing can go wrong. The guest house is near bus stop, beautiful, clean, quiet and has a lovely pool to keep you cool. Breakfast and dinner is great and there is cold drinking water all the time.
