We had a great stay! The staff were very friendly, the pool was lovely, and the room was comfortable. They also helped us arrange desert activities like camel rides, jeep tours, and ATV safari. Everything was well-organized and enjoyable.

The hosts (Omar and Hassan) were absolutely lovely, so caring and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotless. We had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious, clearly prepared and served with love. The hotel is perfectly located right by the dunes , just a short walk through palm trees and you’re there. We’re so pleased our trip to faraway Merzouga was perfect, and staying here truly made the whole experience feel wholesome and complete. Hopefully we can come back one day!

this is not just any other hotel stay. These are people of golden hearts who would treat you as family. they will shower you with love and affection and they will open there hearts and arms for you. I am frequent traveller, and never in my life I experienced anything like this. The facility is well equipped, it serves lavish and scrumptious food and what ever you need, they will go an extra mile to ensure you get it. The showers are hot and clean. Great after one of their desert tours. We did the quads. It was great fun. The vegetarian tagine was delicious at the restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great for wandering into the desert for great night photos and showing people back home a glimpse of the desert with passing camels on video chat.

Maborak was a fantastic host. The minute we booked, he was happy to pick us up personally from the Dream Café which was very much appreciated as I had come down with a fever from the long 9-hour bus trip from Fes. Thank you Maborak for your generous hospitality and your amazing hotel - with its cool pool and expansive views of the dunes - we appreciated all your help with tours, transport, advice and your kindness and would highly recommend Hotel Takojit for anyone seeking an authentic desert experience. Oh, and we hands down say it was the best Morroccon meal we had. 👏

Not only we felt like home by Lahcen, the owner, but the food, the location and the trips were excellent. We decided to do a night in the desert and the experience was magical. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in ever. The design is beautiful, the location perfect and the owners are friendly and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer! The food was delicious, a fusion of Spanish and Moroccan- you are in for a real treat! We did the buggy tour through the riad as well- which is one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. Not to be missed!

Everything was perfect! Room was clean and comfy, dinner and breakfast were delicious and everybody were so kind and friendly. They also welcomed us the next day, after we came from sahara, for a cup of tea while we waited for our bus. I would definitely recommend!
