We absolutely LOVED “Lush in Ella”. If you are wanting to experience peaceful oasis in Ella, this is the place. The design of this unique space hits all the marks in an off the beaten path stay. A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️

The location is not far from the downtown area but far enough to have a relaxing stay. You can easily walk to small Adams Peak and the 9 arch bridge from there. The host was a wonderful gentleman who made sure my stay was an excellent one and provided me with useful information during my stay. He even arranged my transfer to Trincomalee which I appreciated. The room itself was very comfortable with a fan that kept the room at a nice temperature as the nights are cool.Nice bed and good hot water pressure.

Chattu and her parents are very welcoming, kind, and make you feel at home. The bed and toilet are sparkling clean and comfortable. They have a beautiful garden with different flowers and plants, and they have family and contacts all over Ella. We highly recommend staying here!

Breathtaking views, great place to stay if your goal is to get up and go and not sit around the hotel all day. Very close to Ella Rock. Don’t pay more then 500Rs for a Tuk-Tuk to Little Adams Peak.

What a surprise - I booked this place on the morning of arrival and couldn’t be luckier! Absolutely stunning views, rooms are facing the hills and you can’t see or hear anything but amazing nature and wildlife. Spacious bathroom and comfortable room, super pleasant balcony as well. The 2 gentleman running the place were extremely helpful and smiley, and prepared an amazing breakfast! It’s a Sri Lankan breakfast with dal and coconut sambal (thanks for the recipe!) and unless you’re a very picky eater you’ll love it. It’s located 30min walk from center of Ella but you want to avoid that area anyway as it’s pretty touristy. Focus on the trails, hills and tea plantations.

I'm our opinion, the ONLY place to stay in Ella (we stayed in 2, visited 4). Fantastic views of mountains and train. Breakfast was delicious and host very kind. 10-15 minute walk into Ella central, we quite enjoyed it after an evening in town!
