The hosts are really nice and super helpful. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and it was the best start I could get: The host picked me up from the airport, helped me to get cash and a SIM card and explained a lot about the country and Beruwala with a lot of tips of what to do. The room was nice and clean and the house is right at the beach, with a big balcony facing the sea. I got amazing Sri Lankan breakfast every morning on the balcony and the hosts checked in with me regularly to make sure I have a smooth stay and to recommend things to do and places to visit. I can highly recommend the stay and would book again if I return to Beruwala.

Isabel was a lovely host, incredibly friendly and did everything to make her guests welcome. Breakfast was a mix of local and international food. The amenities are amazing and super clean and tidy. The whole place is super quiet and perfect for a calm stay far away from the city bust.

We've spent our first days of our trip here and it couldn't have started better. Nelson, Alexandra and their amazing team made us feel like at home. Their mentality that you come as a guest and leave as a friend is really shown in everything they do. Beautiful setting, delicious breakfast and dinners and above all the passion and kindness that we've got by everyone at La Perla left us speechless. We will be back.
