- The owners are very nice people - Welcome drink freshly squeezed juice - We were well received even though we arrived at 3am - We were seen off at 6 am and they even gave us a wrapped breakfast to go - Beautiful fan in the room - Breakfast included in the price - Spacious bathroom - Purity - Mosquito net - There is a table and a chair (for us it was a workplace) - Wardrobe with shelves - Outdoor daytime sofa with coffee table - Large common area with dining area - Neat garden - Proximity to the ocean - Quietly, you can only hear the birds and the ocean - Feeling of personal space

The room was very spacious and cosy. There was quite a large fridge, good for cooling water (even 5L bottles). The hotel is close to a nice beach and within walking distance of the tourist centre. There is a shop and very good restaurants nearby.

This property was located close to town and all the restaurants as well as the most wonderful little swim beach! Kevin was an incredible host and the rooms were large and clean! As we traveled out of season breakfast wasn’t provided, but we were able to use the kitchen to make ourselves meals. Highly recommend this property!

Apple was a superstar, so helpful and amazing overall, gave us great advice for the area and even let us borrow a surfboard trap for attaching the surfboards to the tuktuk. Very close to everything but tucked away from the mayhem of aragum bay

We had the most amazing 11 nights at Upali and wish we didn’t have to leave! The wonderful staff are so kind, welcoming and helpful with everything - they definitely make the place what it is. A big thank you to Nilu and Anujen!! The location is incredible and we think the best you can get in Arugum, right in front of the main surf break and a 10 min walk into town. We loved being a little away from the busy town! We stayed in two different bungalows and both were beautiful. One was a little larger which was nice and the other looked directly out to the surf which was also amazing!! All of the bungalows are steps away to the ocean and surrounded by palm trees. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent place, especially for the managers and staff guys, extremely welcoming, available and ready to help you in case of need. Excellent location, central to shops, bars and restaurants and very convenient to reach the surf spots, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful. Extremely recommended
