Big thanks to Kun, he was amazing with tips and advice. We had some last minute changes to our onward journey and he was incredibly helpful, booking our taxi and train last minute. I thought that this was just another guesthouse but the design and the quality of the stay was excellent. Arrived earlier than expected and I already got the room ready for use. Room was spacious, clean and really aesthetically pleasing. The location was central and personally for me, quiet which was helpful for me to read and do my reflection. There was food around the area so you don’t have to fret. Breakfast was also provided and the team checks in with you every evening on what you like to have. Having transferred from another luxury hotel, the experience at Baan Pila is comparable and perhaps even more personalised. Free bike was super helpful for me to travel around (even cycling to the gym which was not too far away). I was amazed by the quality of the amenities (shampoo and handwash) that I bought the original brand when I returned to Vientiane. I would recommend anyone to consider staying with the team.

I had a wonderful stay in Wan’s residence. The room was clean and well-equipped. Wan is very attentive to his guests and his wife is making fabulous dinner every morning. The residence is slightly outside of town centre but bikes are provided to guests free of charge.

We really liked the location. It was close to the center, but managed to be very quiet. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It offers a laundry service at a good price, which was very useful to us. Good air conditioning. Very good breakfast. I included options with scrambled/fried eggs or an omelet with bread or even pancakes. To drink there is the option of tea, milk or fruit juices.
