Awesome place! We booked a whole house, with 3 bedrooms. It was super clean and new, with a great layout. Quiet area, only a 6 minute walk from a grocery store. Loved the free bikes!

You can buy breakfast for few hundred yen. I recommend it. It's tasty and healthy! Super friendly staff and travellers. Great atmosphere and clean hostel! The house is a beautiful old Japanese house. Peaceful neighbourhood.

There’s so much to list that I do not know where to begin! I had experienced some slight loneliness while in Japan, but here it was blown away. Ito-san, his family and the dog, K-chan, welcomed me warmly, eager to talk about this and that - I also received rides from and to the nearby Akabane Station. The house and its garden are lovely: they breath an air of past days, but in a clean and dignified manner. Everything is in a perfect condition. The room was spacious, cozy, and the bedding the best I had in Japan. These feel like exaggerations, but truly are not. The hospitality blew me away. Talking with the people of Mokkoan and the other guests over a tasty home breakfast (try the marmalade!) was the best way to start my days in Tokyo!

Very cozy. Lovely staff. Owners have a lot of positive energy. Owners' child will brighten up your day if you are lucky enough to see her ^^. At first sight you may feel like there is too little space (sometimes not enough to open suitcase fully in the room), but you can quickly get used to it. Neighbourhood is great. It was my first time in Minowa station area. It has a charming Sakura tram line nearby. In the guesthouse, you can meet great people. There is a common space where you can do your work or talk to someone. Very clean, good AC temperature, good air quality, good beds (I've slept 13 hours once), good Wi-Fi, good water temperature, good comfort (you can come in and out anytime). I understand, that after all, having a hostel is just a business and it may be very tiring to welcome visitors with enthusiasm for 4+ years. And I'm sure they can have bad days or weeks. But during my stay, I had a great conversations and I felt very welcome. Yuta-san and Nana-san will make you feel like at home.

Our hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly. She couldn't do enough for us. We left our bags here overnight and before leaving for the airport. The room was small but functional. Better for a couple rather than a family. Shared facilities were fine as well. Pretty close to Asakusa with a variety of transport 5-10 mins in any direction.
