This is the most beautiful traditional inn I have stayed in in Japan. I came here with no expectations and was really blown away by every detail from communication to decoration, location and facilities. Great start to our lovely experience in Japan. Such a beautiful find in a secluded place of Tsuruhara, the neighborhood is quiet and welcoming with Metro access in 10 mins from the guest house. Eric and Matte have made sure you have all the amenities like toiletries present, so you won't be needing to carry anything extra. Just a heads up if you're tall, the bathrooms could be an issue as they could be quite compact especially the toilets. Rest the Tatami mats have mattresses and are provided with light duvets which are easy in the summers. Rooms are large enough for two! PS. They also have cycles that you can borrow to roam around. Will be coming back again in the future. Thanks again!

It is a spacious room with Tatami floor and it smells good. Shower room is so considerate to have a plastic cabin to store clothes and the water pressure is very strong. Two toilets in 2nd floor is enough as only 2 rooms (A & B). 5 minutes straight walk to Izumisano station, and you can get an early morning train to Kansai Airport (KIX) about 10mins, which starts from 0520, 0550, 0607, 0620... Nearby has a lot of restaurants and we dined in caffe GIUSTO just 5 minutes walk.

Near to the train station, just 5 mins walk. There is also an onsen (niji no yu onsen) nearby the beach which is another 10 mins walk. It was self check-in so we can check in whenever we want. The guest house has 2 buildings. We booked a family room which one of the entire building was for us. Toilet & shower are separated. Quiet. There is large heating mat on the bedroom floor.

Authentic, traditional house in a quiet location, close to train station, shops and Kura sushi. The hosts make the stay pleasant and comfortable, informative, funny and super friendly. Excellent facilities, I would happily stay again. Recommended.

Cute traditional-styled house in quiet neighbourhood. Clean and sizeable downstairs room, though upstairs mini-rooms looked small. Helpful host who waited until I arrived just past 10pm and woke up early to see me off. Convenient to get to airport by train.

The house is quiet close to the sea, so before leaving Japan, we had the luxuary to spend the last evening by the sea side. There are some swings and a park (10 min walk from the guest house), which the kids loved. There are convenience stores near by. The price / quality is good. We had 1 room with 4 comfy Japanese mattresses. Bath room, kitchen and toilets are shared. Everything is super clean and well maintained.
