Fukuoka Guest House Jikka was the best place I have stayed at while in Japan. Upon my arrival, I received a warm welcome from Peter, one of the staff members, who kindly invited me to join a gathering for dinner with fellow guests. I really enjoyed that since it can be hard to meet people while traveling alone. Peter also offered valuable recommendations for exploring Fukuoka. The location is nice and it is really easy to come and go as you please. I also talked to Ray, another staff member, and he was very helpful as well. Overall, I would say the community aspect at Fukuoka Guest House Jikka made it a perfect place for single or couple travellers.

The whole house is brand new, spacious bedroom and a big smart TV, nice lights and a speaker as well. The host added on an electric cooker, thank you very much for your kindness🥰 The bathroom has a shower booth and a bath with a bathtub, very clean and nice. We had a good living space and a big dining table. Overall, it was a good stay. We will come back again here. Really recommended. 小池様、きめ細かいおもてなしをありがとうございました😊

it was very good. the room is more spacious than it looks. it has everything you need. beds are compfy and we and the kids enjoyed the big screen. we had no problem to lock in with booking com reservation number.

    Best hostel I stayed in during my time in Japan. Friendly owners, great facilities, clean and comfortable. Also close to the bus stop to visit the beach.

    It was a dormitory and I was worrying about the noise. But it was very quiet at night and lights were turned off by the staff at 11pm, which was nice. I was able to sleep well. The location is walkable from the station. Neighborhood is quiet. There was a map showing shops and restaurants nearby at the guesthouse. The owner kindly told us a vegetarian dinner option (an udon restaurant which opens till late, just 5min walk from the guesthouse). Luggage storage after checkout was also possible.

    This place was everything you’d want and more! Ran by a local couple who are absolutely lovely. Facilities are clean, well maintained and private when needed. I was able to hire a bike from this location for 100¥ per hour which was absolutely perfect. Located in a very quiet area, but close to convenience stores, a small walk away from the station and bus stops. I’m definitely coming back here on my next trip to Japan!
