Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable queen sized bed, the place was quiet and you can get a good night sleep. The shared facilities are clean and the kitchen is quite big. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the porch. The guy working there was super friendly and helpful. A good location if you want to shorten the walk to Hongu.

Clean, tidy self check was easy. Bedrooms have air conditioning, tv and comfortable beds The room facilities are practical: a basin, cabinet for toothpaste/brushes and shaver. Cupboard space in room to store clothes and personal property. shower facilities are : sex divided, cleaned daily. Towels provided for guests. Also showering products,.Laundry facilities are good: washing machine cost 300yen and 100 yen for dryer. Good communal area where a view of river and mountains which have a green covering of trees and plants,. Eagles can also be seen from the communal area's windows. Kitchen facilities are very good: electric cooker consists of: 2 X hobs a grill. Pots, pan, cutlery, crockery, kettle, coffee percolator, fridge and freezer accompany the kitchen. The property is cleaned regularly. There is a bus stop outside the property which links up with other transport networks just a few minutes away.A supermarket is 5 minutes away: has all the products for one's stay. The centre of town is one short bus stop outside the property, you could walk there in 10 minutes.

It was a great experience, a cozy, beautiful, and traditional place. The best part was Mindi's attentiveness at all times. She was a wonderful host who took the time to show us the beautiful places and helped us understand everything we needed. Thank you, Mindi. My wife and I would definitely return to this beautiful place!

This is a lovely stay, a location if you are on way to Kumano Kodo, and perfect stop over for rest. We explored this small pleasant village, and took hikes into the forest, what magnificent nature! The host is truly welcoming, we received a home-made dinner and breakfast, and had a chance to chat with other travellers. The tatami mats were very comfortable and not too hard to sleep on like in other locations ;) Once again thank you for the pleasant stay. Wish we could stay longer!

- The host Hiroko. She gives personalized attention. She made me feel at home and taken cared of. It was great to make friends with her especially as a foreign solo traveler. - The thoughfully prepared welcome tea, sumptuous dinner, and hearty breakfast to fuel a day's hike. - The room – very cozy. - The bathroom. It has a tub that was good to soak in after a long day of hiking. - Proximity to the grocery store and restaurant.

Very convenient location for accessing a supermarket, the bus stop, a restaurant, in an otherwise rather remote location. The beds were comfortable and the space was very clean and chic. The free snacks and drinks were a nice touch which I really appreciated. There's a washer and dryer for use as well, which was helpful.

Great guesthouse. The host, Sanae was lovely and helped us check in early because of the bad weather. The guesthouse was lovely with excellent amenities.

Great hostel just meters off the Kumano Kodo trail. Dinner was a tasty and plentiful bento box. Free filter coffee and tea available and good sized sleeping capsules in the dorms. The onsen was also a great bonus!

The location was convenient and quiet, you could hear the stream of water. It was vibrant and full of like-minded backpackers looking after themselves and facilities which stayed clean throughout the stay. The outdoor onsen of the hostel was delightful.

Great hostel! Located right along the Kumano Kodo, with great access to hiking. Stayed in the mixed dorm and was very impressed with the size and comfort of the beds. Lots of privacy for a hostel. Everything was clean. Kitchen well equipped. Private onsen access was great as well. Loved our stay here!
