It is a Serene and nice place. Well looked after place. You would not expect a plush room / facility in the middle of no where. The staff are eager to serve you and make your stay as pleasent as possible. A bonfire was setup for our group. Dinner served around the bonfire. Little things like this made the experience great.

The staff were fantastic. Helped us with booking train tickets, & were available any time we needed them. The hot water needs to be turned on prior to use, & the staff let us pick whichever time suited us. They also let us change from a double bed to two singles. Lovely location!

Admittedly I ended up being changed to Labdhi resort (under the same management and up the road), but my experience with the staff was lovely. Everything was really clean and food was great, which I'm sure would extend to the other property. I loved the room and the location in the shadow of the mountain was beautiful. I loved the peace and quiet and waking up to goats clip-clopping by my room. Internet, hot water, beds and all were great. The staff were super helpful with helping me to book safaris, taxis and a bus back to Bangalore. It is a bit of a drive from Bandipur, so if planning to visit without a vehicle contact reception to help you organise everything.
