Golden Vista Guest House in Jaisalmer. The family who runs the guest house is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive – they truly made me feel at home from the very first moment. One of the absolute highlights was the authentic camel safari they organized for me. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from the touristy crowds. I could really feel their passion for sharing the beauty of the desert and Rajasthani culture. Their in-house restaurant is another gem – they cook incredibly delicious, traditional meals with so much love and care. Every dish I had was full of flavor and truly felt homemade. It’s the perfect way to experience real local cuisine without even having to leave the guest house. The location is perfect – right inside the fort, so you’re staying in the heart of Jaisalmer’s magical old city with stunning views and everything just a short walk away. Even after I returned from the safari, they generously let me use the facilities to shower and freshen up, which I really appreciated. It just shows how thoughtful and genuinely caring they are. It was one of the most beautiful places I have visited. The owner was extremely hospitable and made me fall in love with Jaisalmer. He provided us with more than what we asked for and gave exceptional suggestions which was really helpful as a first time traveller to Rajasthan.

*If you are looking for a peaceful desert experience, this is the place. *Shambhu and his staff are all super friendly and welcoming. No hassle. Easy communication via WhatsApp. *Tents are spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Best shower we had in India so far. *The camp lies further away from the road, so no light nor sound pollution. Pick up and drop from/to Jaisalmer can be arranged. * We did the sunset camel safari with dinner in the dunes. The camels seemed well taken care of. The desert trip was beautiful and we saw millions of stars. * Food is Indian home cooking style. We liked it very much, but depends on your taste of course.

This is the third time I've been back to Casa del Sol because the staff is so welcoming. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. There's a great rooftop terrace where the restaurant's dishes are served. Chef Omkara's cuisine is excellent. You can listen to music, relax, play carrom, and have a great time. And you can even arrange a safari right from here, at a good price. Thanks to the whole team!!!

An incredibly charming hotel in the heart of the fortified city with Jain temple view. Modest room but incredibly clean and comfortable! Great service. Take the guided tour of the city for a small fee with Golu, the hotel manager. What a great experience! I would give an 11 out of 10 if we could. Shukriyaa!
