Hosts were very kind and attentive. April who worked in the breakfast area was lovely. We wish her all the best as she moves on to pursue her dreams. Connor provided excellent restaurant suggestions both in Killarney and along Dingle peninsula. Beds were very comfortable with wonderful duvets.

The guest house was warm and welcoming, it was akin to a small hotel and was very professionally laid out with a welcoming atmosphere. I was staying in the Birches to participate in an event so the morning breakfast was very welcome and fulfilling. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Birches Killarney to anyone be it for a business or leisure trip.

    Joan is a great host! She takes care of you and is ready to advice about activities around. The guesthouse is close to Killarney and it's a good base point to drive into mountains. There is a great kitchen fully equipped. And the breakfast is outstanding - you can stay with continental or go more into Irish one :)

    Monica is a great host, super friendly and supportive in all ways you can imagine. The room was perfect and the shower even better. We loved the place and can recommend it totally. While you are there you should go to an Indian restaurant which is called Usmania, really good food for a cheap price.
