Everything was perfect. We booked a room with private bathroom and there is nothing we could complain about. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The family was kind to us. We enjoyed everything.

Loved breakfast and dinner the food was absolutely incredible. Our host is a phenomenal cook. She even left a bag for us to take some food to go which saved us on our hike the day we left. The property was spotless and perfectly functional. Loved staying there and would again. Their spring for water was delicious and kept us hydrated throughout the hike.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Zhabeshi, Guesthouse Tanano/Dodo is a guest house surrounded by views of the river.

Amazing hospitality and incredible home cooked meals. Highly recommend staying here as your first stop on the Mestia - Ushguli hike. Dodo is a truly wonderful host.

We wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Distance from the hustle and bustle, mountains, incredibly beautiful landscapes and the most hospitable family! We ordered dinner from the hosts in addition to our accommodation, and it was just wow. Homemade Georgian cuisine! 10 out of 10!

Risa was the best host during my Mestia-Ushguli hike. She is really kind and even tho communication was hard I felt home and wish I had more days to stay at her place. There is a lovely garden and the views over the mountains are amazing. I also had great food and the best khachapuri in Georgia. The beds are comfortable and there is a bedside lamp which makes the room really comfortable at night. She also prepared a lunchbox which was really helpful for the hike. I would come back to Georgia just to stay with Risa again! Also the value for the money was just amazing - especially compared to the other overpriced guest houses in other villages.

Our stay at Nora's guesthouse was one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. It's ran by a sweet old lady who made us feel very welcome. She served us delicious, local food, at least some of which was homegrown. The food portions were huge. The guesthouse itself is in a small cottage with local decor. It's also very clean, warm and quiet, so it was a perfect place to relax during our Mestia - Usghuli trek. We cannot recommend it enough 🙂.
