This is a gem tucked away in a beautiful country side, accessed by a long private drive where sheep grazed peacefully in the pasture alongside it. It does mean that you must have a car to get here. Parking is not a problem. There is a huge comfortable sitting and dining area which opens out to superb views of rolling fields and the occasional train passing by. The breakfast was excellent and the beds comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

Kevin was an absolute legend. He’s so open-minded and well spoken. We had a lovely chat the minute I arrived and then I told him how much I’d love to bike around the town, and just like a miracle he pulled out a bike and lent it to me. It was definitely the highlight of my travel and was only possible to happen because of him!
