This was a wonrderful stay in a beautiful house. Our room was lovely, it had all the amenities. We got more water delivered into the room every day. There is no breakfast per se, but there is a possibility to Easy bustrip to city cetnre. All in all the possibility to travel within the city from 4 Friends House is great. Also lovely walking path (The Water of Leith pathway) along the river is just a couple of minutes walk away. Super friendly staff. I forgot my book into the room and they delivered it to me to where I had gotten after check out!! Great communication through out. Thank you Lukas & Silvia!!

The place is very beautiful and with everything you could need for your stay. The parking is huge and with place for all the people staying at the guest house. The family renting the place were super nice and with great recommendations.

The owner was very Kind! The breakfast was very good and well prepared. We stayed here 2 different times during our stay in the area and were delighted both times with the service and cleanliness. It was Lambing season so we were able to enjoy seeing all the baby lambs in the fields all around!

We asked for extra pillows and blankets and instead got a lovely upgraded family room that contained more than we needed. More important, we recieved a warm welcome from Dimitri; after 2 hard days of travel it was exactly what we needed. He explained everything clear and with a smile, and that we should hurry to go to eat before they stop serving food, at 10pm, if not him we would have gone to bed hungry...

The staff was very welcoming. They kept in touch throughout my stay to check on me and make sure everything was perfect. The bed is very comfortable, the towels are super nice as well. The room is big, cozy and well stocked with tea, milk, coffee, hairdryer, kettle etc. We had a very quiet stay as well! - I will definitely be back!

The cottage where we stayed was delightful having all the amenities you could want. There was good side well appointed shower/wash room a very generous size lounge area, good bedroom and a very clever fold out kitchen. It was situated in a quiet location and the courtyard area was very pleasant with enough space for parking as well as benches to sit in the lovely garden. The owner made us and our Jack Russell Lottie very welcome and did not mind our dog being in the area outside our cottage.

Location though not in the city center was actually excellent. Bus stop(s) near and couple of times we even walk from city center to our guesthouse (max 30 min walk, by bus would take as long because buses have like stops in every 100 meters). Very clean, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, biscuits, fresh milk was provided (BIG bonus points from me cause I drink my coffee with lots of milk and I don`t like those tiny separate coffee creams). Comfortable beds, enough pillows (2 for both). Kathryn is very helpful and friendly. Neighbourhood was quiet.
