Our stay at Erlinda's place was exceptional, the place was clean and tidy, very lovely furnished and well equipped. Erlinda was very responsive and when we needed some extra crockery she dropped it round withing minutes. The separate entrance made the space feel nicely separated from the main house and is was very quiet. The pictures on the ad don't do it justice, much more light and spacious than anticipated. All in all, perfect for our purpose visiting the area for some academic event.

The warm greeting by the manager made me immediately feel at home although I arrived after his off hours and he stayed to greet me. We started a conversation that was quite amusing and highly entertaining. And I must say that meeting him was the highlight of my stay at Newton House. I hope you are fortunate enough to share a cup of pressed coffee and baked goods although it is not automatically included. Just a warm-hearted gesture from my lovey host. And yes, the bed was most comfortable and the room quite cozy! It was either a nice walk to town which I did on several occasions or the bus stop is right in front. It was a fantastic choice for my stay in Oxford. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Loved the “ shared accommodation feel. Met a lovely family in the kitchen and visited over tea. There were no staff on site per we but a nice caretaker helped us to get in the room ( we are from Canada and we were turning the lock the wrong way).

Rasa Sayang is a great place if you want to have a pleasant experience at Oxford and save A LOT of money. The amenities of the building are great, the location is perfect (you have the bus stop right in front of you) and the rooms have microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, a comfortable bed and even ironing (which is quiet convenient if you are an Oxford student who needs to look very neat). I am very grateful I found this place, and having the staff -although virtually most of the time- taking care of us. Thank you so much for everything. A+++
