The Senora running the Pension was very helpful and kind. Room with a fabulous sea view. I stupidly broke a bedside lampshade, and the Senira wouldn't accept any payment from me.

The location of the property is great, with incredible views for sunset and sunrise. Top floor room with the terrace was good for some alone time and relaxing. The room was provided with everything you might need, same with the common area. Could not recommend more!

We stayed for one night but would have happily stayed much longer. Everything was perfect for us. The location is fabulous - a pleasant 15 mins walk to the glorious Carnota beach, and just 2 mins to the famous Carnota hórreo, the longest in Spain. The rooms were spotless, chic and very comfortable, with towels, toiletries and a lovely view to the sea in the distance. What makes O Prouso super special is Pedro, the owner, who looked after us wonderfully well. He knew what we wanted before we did! He reserved us a table in the bar, made us a delicious chicken and potato dish for dinner…all without us speaking a word of Spanish! Everyone at O Prouso obviously works very hard to make guests feel comfortable, welcomed and catered for and Pedro is the perfect host. The bar beneath the rooms was lively and popular with locals, a real slice of Galician life. Marvellous! Highly recommend. We’d love to come back.

Lovely place, really nice Camino stop. Manuela I’m the pension was lovely as was Domingo in the café/restaurant/bar next door.
