The host/owners were very welcoming, helpful, resourceful, and even took the time to allow my brother to practice their Chinese language with him. That part was such a joy for him. Victoria researched a few things for us. I felt like family there.

The breakfast was really good and so was the dinner. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and were good value for money. The nearby town of Celle has a beautiful centre well worth visiting.

I loved the faded grandeur of this lovely building.The garden was stepped down to a beautiful meadow next to the river Aller. The footbridge to Celle Centre was very near. Our room was huge with a winter garden which is really a conservatory with pretty windows and grilles.The extra cool sitting area was lovely. The staff were great,particularly the ladies. Breakfast in a pretty salon,beautifully presented,was very good. The beds were very comfy,but mine squeaked badly! The linen was very nice,too. We loved the stroll from the hotel into the remarkable Celle.
