The lady who owns it is sooo friendly, and her grandmother. She gave me a little leaving present which was really nice. Beautiful balcony where you can watch the sunset from the hammock. Very quiet. 5 mins walk into the main strip of town (up a hill on the way back but not far- worth it for the views from the balcony)

Lovely clean hotel. very comfy beds and the view was so green and beautiful. It is like a 2minute motorbike taxi from the bus stop or 15/20 minute walk. It is also rally close to the main water fall - again 15/20 minutes. The bed was comfy too and checkout was 1pm which is awesome. The sound of the air and rain from the balcony was so peaceful.

We really enjoy everything at El refugio. We could cook for ourselves and the host help us to find all we needed. There is a nice terrace to enjoy the sunset (if is not raining)

Our stay at Akainoie was delightful, the room was very well equipped with both aircon and ceiling fan. The kitchen is also well refurbished. The only thing missed; la cocina necessita un trapo de cocina. Very quiet area, we loved it and we stayed two extra nights. George, the owner always made sure we were confortable and Jesus who takes care of the house is just adorable!

Best place I’ve stayed in colombia. Very secluded place with an amazing view where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and all the wildlife and tranquility. At the same time you are only a few minutes walk from the center of Minca, close to all the trails and the hosts will help organize and make you feel right at home.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of Minca, so you could explore the towns restaurants and cafes or visit the surrounding attractions. The property was quite and comfortable meaning it was a good place to relax after long hikes.
