Perfect place to stay in Südsteiermark! Picturestake mountains, wonderful hills and lovely wineries all are in close distance. Young nice & talented owners do their best to make guests much more than happy. Their hospitality is outstanding! The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cooked a fresh produce, which we enjoyed both in the breakfast room and on the patio.The room we had was well furnished, clean and had enough space for open suitcases and other belongings as well as a small table and chairs. The owners were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome on our first visit to the Graz area. The housekeepers were also lovely, very efficient, changing towels when needed and leaving our room and communal areas super clean and tidy.

Kitzeck is stunning. Surrounded by vinyards and beautiful views. We had a very relaxing couple of days, walking and chilling out reading a book with a glass (or two) of the locally produced wine and food.

We’ve stayed here several times. It's a small, cozy hotel set above a vineyard, with a peaceful view over the valley. If you’re lucky, you might even spot deer running through the vines. Breakfast is excellent, with a nice variety of local products. The freshly made scrambled eggs were especially delicious. We also tried the local wine and really enjoyed it. We’ve stayed in both a room with a terrace and one with a balcony. The room with the terrace was larger and more modern, but both were cozy, with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. After-hours check-in is available, with the key waiting in a mini safe. Parking is available as well. The staff is friendly, especially the woman who welcomed us at breakfast. She was warm and attentive to every guest, and it made me wish I spoke German just to be able to chat with her more. The region is beautiful and charming, and we’ll definitely be back!
