When we came Vivian greeted us with warm hugs, and she did everything we asked for. Navigated us with good restaurannt and told us practical things. Vinvan did our laundry perfectly. If we come back to El Calafate we would like to stay here even though the accommodation is not five star.

Ian and his wife are wonderful people, they helped in everything, gave tips on what to do, where to go. I’m so grateful to them! I can only recommend their lovely stay! They also have a wonderful cat, but of course this is a matter of taste. I adore cats :)

Wonderful place, lovely staff and great stay. We had 2 dinners there and it was really nice eating there! Very close to the bus station and a short walk to city centre - it was nice though to stay away from the main road. We booked a massage and the lady was really good! Totally recommend this place, thanks!

Super nice owner who allowed us to check in right away when I arrived in the morning from the flight. Helpful as soon as there were any concerns about the heat in the room she came straight away and helped us get it going. Also helpful in case of problems outside the accommodation. Super good kitchen area where you could have breakfast for yourself when it suits you. Good distance to the main street. And not a long walk to the bus station with bags (we walked all the way there without a problem).

Very nice and calm hostel in the centre of Calafate. The guys at the reception are very friendly and helpful, they gave me a lot of tips and advices. The hostel is clean and breakfast is good, all for a fair price.

Excellent experience at Ruca Nel. They welcomed us with a lot of good humour and friendliness. We loved all the moments we shared with the hosts, who knew how to advise us and make us feel comfortable. As for the distance to the centre, for walkers it is a very nice walk back. And for the others, the taxi is not expensive (less than 2 dollars)! So don't be discouraged by the location which, thanks to its height, allows the beautiful panoramic view at breakfast! :)) The latter was very good and home made! We would also like to thank them for offering us to spend the day in their lounge despite our 10am check out so we wouldn't have to hang around outside. We thank them very much for all their attention and recommend them highly!
