Lusine is a great host. She speaks very good English and gives great recommendations for your stay in Gyumri. She received me with tea, cookies and good conversation. The place itself is very well located because it is between the train station and the main sights (closer to the latter), so you can comfortably walk around. And at night everything is peaceful (I literally overslept because of how comfortable it was). The room is great (especially in the afternoon when it is bathed in sunlight); and the best thing is that, even though it has good capacity for three people, she charges per -person- (so I had a big room all to myself for a very fair price). Keep in mind that this is basically a family house where you are staying in one of the guest rooms (but luckily, there is no curfew). I had no issue, but I wish I spoke better Armenian or Russian so I could have interacted more. The bathroom is clean (and you get two towels); and you can also use the kitchen. The WiFi connection is also very good. All in all, I definitely recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Communa guesthouse! The hosts are a lovely couple who make you feel at home the moment you step in. The guesthouse is beautifully and comfortably designed, perfectly located just 2 minutes from the main square, and even has a cozy wine bar in the basement (with a very nice selection of local wines). It's easily the best place to stay in Gyumri. I've visited many places here, but Communa will definitely be my choice on my next trip. A special note of appreciation for the owners, who personally renovated the historic building. They not only manage it themselves but also constantly enhance the common spaces. Their dedication to preserving the house's history and contributing to Gyumri's development has truly captured my heart and support!
