We had a really lovely stay here after our hike from Teth. They have 4 ensuite rooms which have a really nice rustic charme. We even had an amazing mountain view from our window. They make sure you have everything that you need. They also offer a homemade traditional Albanian dinner, which we highly enjoyed after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here.

Very nice, rustic home, feels like a log cabin. Quiet. The owner and host Mir is awesome, so nice. He made sure we had extra eggs, bread, cheese etc for the trek. Mir makes great coffee too. I think most places in Valbone are quite spread out, we were fortunate to get dropped off at the bottom of his road, maybe 1200 metres walk up. The official trail start is about 2 kilometres away, either arrange a taxi or walk. We chose the latter, downhill from Mir's, used a short cut he recommended, after 12 minutes you arrive to the flat and dry riverbed. The scenery is already amazing and the walk easy when you start early. The restaurant near to Mir's is good as well.

The lady was very kind and the room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, served in a living room with big windows and a lovely view! Also there's seats and tables outside which are great to enjoy in the sun. The lady can also arrange a packed lunch for hiking but you need to ask the day before.

Amazing hosts. Made us feel welcome and gave us good inside knowledge and advice on all things Albania. The food for breakfast and dinner was great with it all being fresh and locally produced. The room was simple but had air-conditioning which is an absolute game changer. Hosts even went the extra mile and dropped us off at the start of the hike to save us some energy. I have nothing bad to say about this spot :)
