We stayed for ten days and we were very well looked after from day 1. Harris used the translator app which was very helpful, he gave us great advice, was super friendly and hospitable and even gave us a ride into town at one point. He gave us a bowl of fruit also from his garden which was so delicious and lovely. He is a very kind and honest man. Great host!

The property is very nicely located close to the Potami and Pirnos beach. - It helps a lot that you don’t really need to use your car while going to the beach, markets etc. - The room was very clean with all the amenities one might need. - The owners are a very sweet family, always ready to help. If you leave them the keys of your room they will clean and refreshen everything daily. They also have a cute bunny named “Sparkles” that makes up for a sweet companion in the garden. - The furniture and infrastructure are all new and comfortable to rest at after a long day at the beach. - There is a Market only 5min walking distance from the place; as there are also plenty of restaurants and bars. - The parking spot is very easily accessible and well-spaced in front of the hotel.

If you want to spent your holiday in a fantastic place we highly recommend Koks’ Guesthouse. It’s located very close to the beach but the area is also quiet and peaceful. There are very good restaurants around with amazing food - we didn’t rent a car so it was very important to us. Apartaments are spacious and have all you might need on vacation. There is a common kitchen outside available to use but we haven’t used it since we bought breakfast with our booking. Thank you to the host family for their hospitality and Theodora for helping with everything eversince we booked the apartaments, we were constantly in touch. The host family make delicious breakfast. We spent an amazing time there and we would happily go back.

The room was very comfortable and clean, it had all the necessary equipment, including a shared kitchen which I found very useful. The hosts were very nice and helpful, they made me feel at home. As for the location, it was the best possible in Himara, because it was very close to the beaches and to the town centre at the same time. I highly recommend it.

Anna and Timios are great and warm people (not just hosts) - special thanks for your help, when I felt sick. The dinner they made to us was fresh and maybe the best meal we had during our week in Himare. Filoxenia is a great place for everyone who loves to be in harmony with nature and far away from the urban jungle in Albania. I came with an electric car and I managed to charge it, so I would say Filoxenia is EV friendly :)
