This little hidden gem absolutely exceeded my expectations. Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

Housed in a building dating from 2023, this luxury tent is 5.9 km from National Garden Exhibition Centre and 7.7 km from Bray Heritage Centre. The property is non-smoking and is located 5.4 km from Brayhead. Our stay was perfect the location is central with everything you need a stones throw away. The tent was comfortable and has a heater and electric blanket so at night it wasn’t cold! Parking was right beside us which was super handy and the complimentary breakfast in the nearby cafe was great! We will definitely be back!
