The location up on the hill overlooking the lake provided a beautiful view from the rooms and onsen. The breakfast, snacks, and dinner provided were delicious and we didn’t have to leave the property unless we wanted to explore. The onsen bath was clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. It's hard to describe how wonderful out stay at this property was. Fuji view right in front of us, open bath (onsen) with Fuji view again! Great staff, amazing atmosphere all around (no different from a gallery), super-friendly and helpful staff at bar as well. Their yukatas and kimono jackets were also fascinating. I mean, as I said, lots of words to describe but none of them would be enough. Just experience it yourself please.

It has a lush garden, a sauna and 2 restaurants. Rooms offer free wired internet, and some boast a hot spring bath. Lovely hotel with outstanding views of Mount Fuji! We spend on night here on our way to Kyoto and it was the perfect relaxing night after Tokyo highly recommend.
