The warm atmosphere when we entered the castle and attention of the reception we got made a big impression which we loved. The staff were so friendly and obliging and really made us feel at home there. I had been away for several months and at dinner received welcome home from the staff which both my wife and I felt very touched by. The room was ideal and the quality of the beds gave us such a great nights sleep that it was the first thing we commented on when we woke up in the morning. The food there was of the highest quality and I cannot rate this hotel high enough on all aspects. It really was a magical getaway for us as a couple

An absolutely beautiful old family country house that has been tastefully transformed into a charming up market B&B. Mary and Raymond are delightful hosts - full of local knowledge and wonderful Irish hospitality. It really does feel like you are guests in their home. The house and location are in the heart of the countryside with lovely views. Needless to say that it is in a very quiet area and we slept beautifully! Breakfast is all home-made and cooked to perfection. Close, easy drive into Athy for dinner. Would have no hesitation to go back and stay if we were back in the beautiful area. Thanks for a wonderful stay both.

Beautiful peaceful location. Great view from the cottage where we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the selection of DVDs in the evenings. We had a wonderful breakfast at the main house on two mornings. Mary is a wonderful hostess. Also really enjoyed learning about the milking and farm operation. Short drive into town.

Just a 15-minute drive from Dublin’s centre, The Springfield Hotel is situated in the centre of Leixlip. It offers free parking, and a modern restaurant serving hearty cuisine. A regular, public service Airport Hopper Bus, is available. I rarely write reviews but this was one of the nicest stays ever! And I stayed in a good few hotels, including the 5-star Raddison in Dublin. While the location is not very central, there is a bus to the city centre right outside the hotel. What I loved the most - ALL the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and just genuinely nice. The room was quiet and very comfortable, the bed was huge xD The food was good, I had dinner in the hotel - Mediterranean salad, it was delicious. Lots of water available which is important to me. Cleanliness was good, and the hotel itself looks beautiful from the outside. Very chill vibes overall. I was impressed, for the price and a 3-star hotel, everything was above expectations. Cleaner, quieter and nicer looking than some 4-5 star hotels in Dublin.

Rooms at the Osprey have modern bathrooms with large baths and showers, and free WiFi. The staff was exceptional. they were attentive, helpful, cheerful, authentic and a couple of them even remembered by name.

Glenroyal Hotel offers superb leisure facilities, including a modern leisure club. Maynooth Rail Station is opposite the hotel and Dublin city centre is a 20-minute drive away.

The spacious rooms are comfortably furnished, with stylish decor and a TV. An inclusive full Irish breakfast is provided. The central location and facilities are ideal for getting to know Maynooth and its surroundings. What deserves special mention, however, is the staff. Our daughter had to undergo a medical examination following an accident, and the receptionist immediately took care of the coordination during the night and remained a caring and empathetic point of contact for us throughout the entire time. In addition, the next morning during breakfast, the hotel manager asked about our daughter’s well-being and invited us to breakfast, which we found very considerate and hospitable. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to the entire team!
