I had an amazing stay at this hotel! the food was delicious. The staff and servers were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we felt welcome. Sweet small boutique hotel. Lovely layout, so plenty of space to enjoy the sun. Staff great, comfy room and breakfast tasty.

Habitas Caravan is perfectly positioned on the shore of the Dakhla Lagoon, making it easy to split your day into two kiting sessions—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—with just a quick crossing of the main road to reach the beach. We stayed in the ‘Desert Riad’ rooms, which were more than sufficient for our needs. Kite spot:From day one, Fatah and the entire crew went above and beyond to ensure we had everything needed to enjoy our kiting experience to the fullest and made us feel completely at home. Whether it was helping me properly mount the fins on my board, driving us close to the shore while carrying all our gear, their attention to detail was remarkable. We rented some of their equipment, brought some of our own, and also used their storage facilities. The school offers beginner courses and always prioritize safety. For instance, they chose to cancel our lessons on a day when the wind was too strong for our level. On our last day, they even helped us clean and dry our kites to prepare them for the journey home. Staff:From the reception team to the restaurant staff, the pool bar crew, the cleaning lady, everyone consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Their recommendations for activities outside the hotel (Le Ranch des Dunes is a must-see), truly made a difference. I especially want to mention Mahfoud and Zineb, who were extremely helpful even after we left. When one of our luggage pieces didn’t arrive home with us, we reached out to the hotel staff for assistance since we couldn’t get in touch with anyone at Dakhla Airport. Restaurant:Finally, the food definitely deserves a mention. We opted for the full board option, which included à la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the quality and flavor of the meals were exceptional. The calm and soothing music in the restaurant area enhanced the serene atmosphere We’ll definitely return soon and will always cherish the wonderful memories of this holliday!

I was truly impressed by Bavaro. It beautifully showcased the perfect harmony and collaboration between Moroccan and other African staff — as if reflecting Dakhla’s unique position between West Africa and Moroccan territory. Everyone was kind, smiling, and consistently attentive to every request. I really enjoyed the outdoor activities they proposed, including camel riding, scuba diving, and a full package tour to places like the White Dune, Sebkhat Imlili, Porto Rico Beach, and Asmaa (the thermal spring), among others. They also provide a convenient shuttle service from/to the airport. The hotel itself features a beautiful private beach where you can swim and relax. It’s also a perfect place for families. Even if you’re travelling with a toddler, the chef and kitchen staff will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I sincerely thank the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. Everything was wonderful and relaxing — I truly enjoyed my time with my family.

A short stay, unfortunately, but what a wonderful experience..

First impressions are the location in front of the ocean view is remarkable, then you have a warm welcome and smile from a professional staff of the reception team. The hotel is super clean and safe 24/7, cleaning team ready every morning for deep cleaning of the rooms. In general a great team of professionals who makes you come back happily and honestly we do not regret any moment in this hotel since 2013, yes exactly it’s been years that we’re happy to come to the same place me and my family.

The location was incredible with a great spirit around sport and friendships ! The hotel is like a small village where everyone becomes friends!

Bungalow with view to the lagune, yummy food, very friendly stuff, perfect place! The kite school Wingfoil is in this camp and a ranch with horses and camels is very close.
