Hotel were more than happy to accommodate specific room requests. Staff The food was fabulous at breakfast, and in the Restaurant and the lounge. The leisure facilities, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were lovely. Great coffee, shortbread and chocolates in the room. Beautiful bathroom setting and toiletries. The grounds and garden are beautifully kept.

With a beautiful setting on the River Suir, the luxurious Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Resort is on a private island completely detached from the mainland.

Special request were fulfilled in advance, despite being kinda nonsensical. The staff got a good sense of humour and the breakfast was great!

They have their own carpark. The meals were excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The weather wasn’t great but the Tower is so centrally located it’s perfect for sightseeing attractions close by.

Comfortable and clean, the room had lot of space. We enjoyed a complete and delicious breakfast. The staff were all very attentive and they answered all of our questions and queries since the reservation was made. It has a nice restaurant with a good offering, open till late (it saved us on a blank holiday evening!) We will definitely come back!!

Approaching Arthurstown we realised we were emersing ourselves in real Southern Ireland. The roads narrowed and became twister before we reached Arthurstown to be met with a stunning vista of the Waterford Harbour Estuary and views over Duncannon Fort and further afield to the Hook Lighthouse. This is located at the southern most tip of south east Ireland - a beautiful and windswept spot. Arthurstown is timeless and Marsh Mere Lodge the perfect accommodation. The property is immaculately clean and well mainatined and furnished with many interesting antiques and artifacts. The hosts have run Mere Marsh Lodge for many years and are long time residents of Arthurstown. They are exteremely welcoming making all guests feel immediately at ease and provide an excellent breakfeast.

The Brandon House hotel and Eco Spa is situated on the N25 in New Ross, between Wexford and Waterford. It offers a pool, gym, an award-winning restaurant and free parking.

Accommodation was a stand alone cabin in back of property with parking right in front. This was a cute little self contained cottage run by a friendly host that was knowledgeable of the area. Location was convenient for our travels. Nice grounds to sit and relax.
