Got an upgrade on my original suite. The front reception to room service staff, there were very trained to make my group feel so welcomed. I had a chef who made me tosai the next day after I mentioned what I like to eat the day before at the breakfast buffet. Thanks to the breakfast supervisor, he made me and my company feel special. The Majestic Hotel has always been my favorite place to stay in Melaka. It’s tucked away from the chaos of Jonker Street, yet still close enough to reach on foot. You can take a scenic walk along the river or wander through the town—both routes are equally enjoyable. The rooms are consistently clean and beautifully maintained. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and well-informed about the city and all it has to offer. The only thing I’d like to point out to the management is the bed—it looks plush and inviting, but unfortunately, it’s not as comfortable as it appears! A little upgrade in that area would make the stay absolutely perfect.
