The property is allergy-free and is located less than 1 km from Merida Cathedral. Pretty much everything! The staff were polite and spoke / wrote good English from the start - this is the only hotel I have come across in Mexico where they actually answered messages in advance of the visit. The room was good; well appointed and spacious. The plunge pool looked lovely, although I didn’t try it. The breakfast suited me down to the ground (fruit salad with yoghurt and granola, followed by a choice of dishes - I had avocado on toast, which they were happy to add bacon to - yum). The setting was as relaxed and chilled as it comes in Mexico.
