Honestly, this place well worths a visit, it will but surprise you. We were atracted by the pictures on Booking, but when there, we got astonished by the place. The place is brand new, opened just over a year ago, and so you notice because everything is new, modern, with an attention to detail to be pointed out, the arabic atmosphere merged with the tropical environment of Tulum stands this place up to one of the beautiest I've ever been. We arrived quite late at night, but we were so impressed with the place that we couldn't but discover the place, quietly obviously, we don't wanted to bother noone, nor the turtles that were on breeding season (incredible experience as well). During our walk through, we meet Julian, the person in charge at night how was willing to show us the place around and sharing some comments about its construction, surroundings and everything, it was so kind from him. The room was beautiful, clean, with lots of space, a spatious bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, a small terrace with a small private swimming pool, comfortble beds, every facilitie you may need, and all with so much detail and care for excellence. To show the detail of the place, every rug on the place is perfumed to obtain a caractewristic aroma for the place, gel, shampoo, lotion are from Rituals, by the entrance, every room has a small sort of fountain, so you can remove the sand from your feet before entering the room. They have three main areas to eat and drink, one next to reception room, an open space bar/restaurant just by the garden, a second one on a rooftop in front of the sea, coming with a swimming pool to chill, and las but not less important, the area placed just into the beach, Marvellous place, quiet, calm and relaxed to enojy the sound of the sea, or even walk into the sea, as you have direct access. Bear in mind that if you are an early bird, you could catch up some amazing pictures of the sunset by the ocean.

La infraestructura es maravillosa, villa de ensueño, comida deliciosa, relación precio calidad acorde, ubicación cercana a restaurantes y cafés, la amabilidad y buena disposición del personal nos dejó con ganas de volver y recomendar esta hermosa experiencia. The rooms were spacious and provided a great view of the lagoon. The balcony was amazing with a private pool and hammock. I enjoyed the restaurant and sun beds as well. The location of the hotel is great and very close to the town. The hotel staff was so kind and they helped us call taxi's to and from the property when we would head to town. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone going to Bacalar!

Yellow Nest is a magnificent boutique hotel located in the Quintana Roo jungle, near Tulum. The hotel features 20 rooms with two categories - Villas, which come with a private plunge pool, and Nidos, cozy rooms adorned with ancestral symbols that exude a mystical vibe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Erick and the amazing Arturo, the chief concierge and one of the founders of Yellow Nest. Arturo showed us around the property and explained that it is integrated with the Mayan villages, and the main pool is part of a Mayan cenote. Our Villa was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities required for a fantastic stay. Prior to our arrival, we had the opportunity to speak with Chef Julio César to arrange a romantic dinner that catered to our dietary preferences of vegetables, legumes, and fish. The presentation was delicately decorated with rose petals and incorporated ancestral decor. The tiradito de pargo was the best dish we have ever tasted, and the vegetarian ceviche with white and black quinoa and passion fruit honey sauce, accompanied by oven-baked tostadas, was a perfect representation of the culture. They paired each dish with a cocktail that balanced perfectly with our taste buds. The evening ended around a bonfire where guests gathered and the moon peeked through the Mayan jungle. The next morning, Manuel, who is responsible for maintaining the property, kindly served us freshly brewed coffee made from Chiapas and Veracruz beans. His warm gesture surpassed any experience we have had before. We also enjoyed the opportunity to experience the Temazcal, which is located near the cenote, and it was a moving and emotional experience. Overall, Yellow Nest is an excellent hotel that provides an experience beyond what we expected. The staff's genuine care and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional getaway.

Situado en Tulum, a 9.1 km de Tulum Archeological Site, Wakax Hacienda - Cenote & Boutique Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World cuenta con hospedaje con bicis gratuitas, estacionamiento privado de... Everything was amazing. It feels like the owners care about the details and making your stay as comfortable as possible. The territory was huge, there were multiple cenotes, underground river, a beautiful lagoon, 3 pools, and more. There's lots of things to do that are included in your stay, like kayaks/paddle boards, bike tours, underground river tour and daily yoga classes. The tour guide Gonzalo was amazing, he was very passionate about the tours, and went above and beyond in making sure everyone was comfortable and had a great time during the experiences. The food in the restaurant was really good, and the staff very nice and helpful. There's plenty to do on the premises, but the location is also close to many of Tulum's white sand beaches.

I've given this a perfect rating though I don't think it's quite perfect. The thing is there is something special about being there. The natural beauty and peaceful feeling of the lagoon are highlighted by carefully designed rooms and a reasonably limited number of guests. It never feels overcrowded. The hotel design captures the magic of the location and they provided comfort and service above my expectations
