Our party of five had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Waterland! The staff met us upon our arrival and checked us in quickly and efficiently. They continued to provide excellent service throughout our two day stay. The 90 minute boat tour of the nearby Dutch Canal is highly recommended. We saw a lot of bird life and a monitor lizard or two. And our two story villa with private pool and view of the river was quite luxurious. We only wish we were able to spend a few more days at this wonderful hotel!

Absolutely beautiful place with incredibly kind staff and manager. A real haven for relaxation and brilliantly close to the airport yet so peaceful. We loved our tour of the vegetable gardens, the amazing pool and the children loved the kite making. The food was also delicious and all of the people working there were wonderful. We loved it and would love to come back, thank you for a wonderful stay!

The room we had was amazing. It was our last night in Sri Lanka but probably the best night we had. Amazing sunset..private pool, great food. We felt like a king and queen. Staff were amazing and so friendly. The lounge areas where also great for just relaxing. There is also plenty to explore in the surrounds within walking distance.

El Goldi Sands Hotel ofrece alojamiento frente al mar en Negombo, a 15 minutos en coche del aeropuerto internacional Bandaranaike. Nos alojamos la primera noche, recién aterrizados. Es un hotel cómodo, en primera línea de playa y con restaurantes cerca. Está muy limpio. El desayuno muy bueno y el personal amable.

We stayed at the hotel prior to a return flight to the UK. It was the sixth hotel we'd used in our trip to Sri Lanka and by far the best. we had a lovely, large, double-aspect room where all the facilities worked and were easy to work out. (We had discovered that convoluted and incomprehensible light switching is a feature of hotels in Sri Lanka but not this one.)

This homestay is in the middle of our way to Sigeriya. 3 km from the main road and you are in the paradise! Room is large, quiet and comfortable, the house is well-equipped and the owner is really hostile, he tries to do the best everything you want really. Near the house there is an amazing garden with different birds and two ponds with big beautiful fish and colorful frogs. There are funny monkeys not far from the house, but they don't disturb people. Dinner and breakfast were awesome, authentic and tasty. Thanks a lot for hospitality!!!
