The wonderful staff was very attentive and made everyone feel at home at all times. Everything has been taken care of from the day we arrived to when we left. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties. Everything was freshly made with passion and love. Franzi would occasionally give us a ride with the tuktuk when going out, or in need of a quick transport. Her driving skills are simply unmatched and deserves mentioning. The days felt nice and long as the property offers a safe space to retreat from the busy, chaotic roads further south, making you enjoy every second at the property more. Stunning views from all corners into the vast ocean with unforgettable sunsets leave you speechless. Our trip through SriLanka was rapidly transformed from an adventurous busy holiday to a perfect relaxing safe space with direct access to the beach. Leaving this place makes me extremely sad but I am hoping to return soon again to spend some more quality time with the wonderful people I’ve met here, and can call friends. The manager was attentive to all our requirements. -Being a vegetarian, I did not have a lot of options for breakfast or other meals, however, the chef Isuru and other kitchen staff went out of the way to make vegetarian meal options for me. -They arranged for a spa treatment upon request for us and the masseuse knew his work. I would like to conclude by saying that both the property and kitchen staff at Tavetti understand the ethics of the Hospitality industry well!

The WIFI was the best that we experienced in Sri Lanka - fast and reliable. Our room was extremely large with a big balcony overlooking the beach. It also had a sofa and TV with Netflix subscription which we enjoyed. The hotel is opposite both the railway station and the bus station which was ideal for us in order to travel along the coast in both directions.
