Everything, except the location. It was a bit out of town but the hotel offered their own tuk tuk into town. Lovely room, with excellent balcony. Exceptionally helpful staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Booked the tuk tuk to round the temples and he was excellent. Very good value and a really pleasant 4 day stay.

Absolutely amazing hotel and experience from start to end. The staff is doing their outmost to make the stay comfortable, helps with booking turistic tours, packs lunch in case of early leave, and very kind. The swimming pool is gorgeous on the top floor with a nice bar and view over the city. The location is perfect with many shops, restaurants and spa nearby. I cannot wait to stay again there in Siem Reap!

Loved everything about this stay. Cannot fault it all, the most amazing place we've ever been to as a family. The staff were perfect, from the get go they accommodate you with anything you want to do on your holiday, transport always ready and airport pick up and drop off. We were able to do soo much in just 3 days because of the brilliant staff. Food, pool and room were beautiful. You cannot get better. Highly recommend to anyone going to Cambodia to stay here. We will definitely be going again and it is because of this amazing hotel.

Wonderful hotel with true luxury. Every aspect of the hotel’s service from check-in, to turn down service and everything in between, is done to perfection and with that little extra touch of thoughtfulness. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, food is excellent and swiftly provided. The highlight is the staff, who are show great training but also inject their personality and warmth to the service. They are proactive and attentive, but not at all invasive. Whenever you need them it is as if they magically appear. If you are coming for the temples we highly recommend the private tours offered by the hotel. They provided us with Em, an excellent guide, who knew everything about the temples and also gave us great insights to the modern history and contemporary society of Cambodia. The hotel provided the driver, who kept us refreshed with water and cold towels (much appreciated, after climbing up the steep steps of Angkor Wat!). We had a 3-day tour and Em planned and paced it beautifully, so that we visited 20 (!) temples in three days but without being exhausted or (totally) overwhelmed by the experience. Visiting the more remote temples in Koh Ker is absolutely recommended as they are stunning, serene places. Also more visitors by locals giving you a little flavour of local life. In short, come for the temples - stay for the Angkor Village Hotel!

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given a detailed briefing about all the wonderful things to do, places to eat, and tours to explore in the area. This thoughtful touch immediately set the tone for an amazing stay. The room and food were exactly as advertised—just like the pictures! Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Special mention goes to Kim from the staff—she was absolutely incredible! She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly valued as guests. Her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a memorable experience!

A truly beautiful location with only 9 double villas, a large pool and very helpful and nice staff. Know all about the area and make reservations for trips if you want. Every day 1 free tuk tuk to and from the hotel. We had a wonderful time.

The staff were kind and provided excellent service. Airport transfer can be arranged in advance by sending a message through Booking.com chat. Responses are quick and reliable. A full-day tuk-tuk tour to Angkor Wat was also arranged at the front desk after arrival, even for the next day. The price was reasonable. The location is a bit far from the night market and Pub Street, but tuk-tuks can be easily found using Grab. It takes about 5 minutes and costs around 1 USD. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is buffet-style and available early in the morning, which is convenient before sightseeing. Note that installing WhatsApp and Grab in advance are highly recommended. For WhatsApp, it is useful for communication with the front desk, and also with tuk-tuk drivers for temple tours. Grab is must-have, it is no need to negotiate price with tuk-tuk drivers. Always cheap, clear, and easy to use. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

We loved the private pool. The room was immaculate and cleaned to the highest standards. The staff at Waka Villa are amongst the friendliest and most professional hotel staff I have ever encountered. They genuinely wanted you to have a great time and would happily accomodate any requests we had.

    Jaya House is exceptional in every way. The facilities, staff, food and service are classy and staff went out of their way to give us everything we needed and more. The hotel room and overall design of the hotel are better than 5 stars. We felt pampered in this tropical wonderland. We will be back to stay longer next year. Our personal staff member Neath was polite, friendly and warm and she made us feel very special. A definite place to stay for any occasion.
