It’s a stunning property in a colonial style. The building and garden are very well maintained. The staff was great, kind and professional. The food offer was good, lots of choice and great quality. We borrowed their bikes, which was nice to get to the beach, which is only a short ride away.

Staying at Caravela was perhaps one of the finest experiences me and my family had. The resort in itself is amazing. Has nearly all the facilities that one can expect from a top-notch resort. Location - Varca - is just perfect. You can walk to the beach for the sunset, have drinks and a decent dinner at the beach too. The check-in was smooth. The facilities at the resort were great. The family had a great time at the resort - at times so much so that they didn't even want to leave the resort and explore Goa. The breakfast had a lot of options for people with varying cuisine preferences. The resort in itself was massive, had a lot of acitivity options. The green area behind the resort and just before the beach had walking paths where one could walk, enjoy the weather and relax on the hammocks. The overall vibe of the resort was amazing. Absolutely recommended and would definitely return.

It was truly a fantastic holiday. The kids loved the water slide and the adults enjoyed the swim up bar. We were also travelling with elderly parents and the staff went the extra mile to make them comfortable. The hotel is also on Utorda beach which is definitely one of the nicest beaches in Goa. So it was close to favourite like Martin’s Corner and Zeebop. The service was exceptional - with a special shout out to Linekar (front office) and Raju (housekeeping) and of course the incomparable Shatrunjay (resident manager).

The property was nicely designed in the style of Portuguese villas and we felt warmly welcomed from arrival. The staff were brilliant and really went over and above to make our stay memorable. Our room had a large bed, tv, and balcony and was very comfortable. The hotel has a large pool and a number of restaurants and bars. It’s also situated around 200m from a very quiet and tranquil beach. The food was excellent throughout the stay, in particular in mama miso, and the hotel ran a number of activities to entertain guests. It was a brilliant stay that really was made extra special by the staff.
