This was my 3rd visit here - this shows how lovely the place is. Unspoilt natural beauty, both in the jungle and right on the lake. They have their own little deck right on the lagoon. Free kayaks to borrow or you can go on a guided tour. I recommend the jungle walk with Jacqueline - a tranquil way to start the day. The food from the restaurant was exceptional - not a huge menu which is great as everything is freshly prepared.The rooms / cabins are tastefully simple. This is my favourite place to stay in Mexico - in fact probably the whole world!!

The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. There are hammocks in the water, swings, kayaks, paddle boards, and chairs in front of the water. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable with Netflix, air con, mini fridge, shower with hot water, etc. One of the best parts is being able to use the scooters to go all over town which is included. The property is out of the town but by having the scooters, it makes it easy to go into town. The property is super clean and the workers are very nice. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and includes a sandwich, fruit, and pastry. It's basic but good. You get one coffee pod to make in your room per day which is good. If you want you can purchase more. Each day they also restock your mini fridge with two beers, two waters and two sodas. They also clean your room daily and the property is kept very clean. This was definitely a splurge for us but if you use all of the amenities it can be worth it.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. Hotel was very nice with a great location and lovely beach for the family. What stood out was the customer service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially the Manager Oswaldo who allowed us to switch our dates around at no extra cost while we were there so that we could visit Bacalar when the weather was windy on the coast. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Carolina Bacalar offers 4-star accommodation in Bacalar and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a bar. There is a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine, and free private parking is available. The location and facilities are great and the staff is fantastic. They were incredibly friendly, helpfull, and super relaxed. Overall this stay far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is super cozy and looks beautifull!

The accommodation has both a sun terrace and garden to relax in after a busy day, along with a private beach area. The location is beautiful and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our host was friendly and helpful. Loved relaxing by the lagoon in the hammocks. Would happily stay again!
