We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

The serenity, specially if u seat quietly in the balcony at night, is mesmerizing. The owner is very welcoming and cordial. Breakfast was good too.

The place was fantastic, it was amazing to wake up with the view from the window: forest, river, mountains and sounds of nature only! We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. The stuff was very good, the food was tasty and the house was beautiful

The breakfast had many options, including fresh fruits, bread, and warm dishes. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed it every morning. The location was also very good because it was near shopping areas and public transport. It was easy to go to different places from the hotel.

For guests with children, the accommodation offers kids pool, outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. The villa has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Everything was perfect! The place was clean has a very homey vibe. Host Nalin made our stay more memorable and enjoyable. He’s kind, very friendly, very polite,professional,very respectful and very thoughtful. We had the best holiday ever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Such a hidden gem.
