Safari Experience: Our guide, Alan, was knowledgeable and great with the kids. The safari itself exceeded expectations, offering unforgettable moments with the wildlife. Campfire Evenings: Gathering around the campfire in the evenings was a memorable experience. The sounds of hyenas and wildlife in the mornings made it feel even more magical. Warm Hospitality: The overall vibe of the camp made us feel at home and added a personal touch to the experience. Warm Layers: We ended up purchasing some lovely traditional blankets from Alan to stay warm in the chilly August mornings, which was a nice keepsake.

Although I booked expecting moderate accommodations this camp delivered luxury!.. from the moment you are welcomed by the staff, the room amenities and overall comfort, to the extraordinary location -- just a couple of minutes to one of Masai Mara's entry gates... to the extraordinary food prepared by the chef... all exceeded my expectations.

Sightseeing tours are available in the neighbourhood. The campground features a children's playground and a picnic area. Our stay was perfect. The accommodation is very close to one of the park’s gates, so you can get there in just a few minutes. The food was delicious and different every day, including the lunch boxes. The staff were very friendly, and the owner was welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist us. The game drives were also amazing. Thank you so much, it was a perfect stay.

The camp’s outdoor pool is surrounded by sun-loungers. There is a library with board games and a playground for children. Hot air balloon rides can be organised at Mara Camp. Safari camp with a swimming pool overlooking the river. Very close to the landing strip. Very convenient location. F&B: very good options on the menu. Changes daily ( a la carte) and when camp is full they set up a buffet. We tried both. Fully enjoyable. Game drives are included. Great value. Excellent experienced guides (Raphael was informative, patient, a careful driver and a great conversationist) The camp staff were super accommodating and very approachable. They brought a fridge to our tent when we informed them there wasn't one. Housekeeping is impeccable, room was spotless at all times. Nice gesture of hot water bottles in the bed at night. Drink requests delivered to the room early in the morning before game drive. A wonderful experience. Excellent overall

The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Situated in Ololaimutiek, Alama Camp Mara offers 5-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. The staff! Faith, she made a special place in our heart. It was our honeymoon and she made everything very special for us, she was so attentive and the best host we had throughout our whole time in Kenya! We would come back SPECIFICALLY because of Faith! Breakfast was great, loads to choose from. The room was very cosy and clean. They do cute touches like put hot water bottles in your bed whilst you're at dinner! There is always someone to walk you up and down the dark path which was a nice addition.

Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. I dont know where to start, staff is amazing, place is amazing, locationc is perfect, ask for Alex as your guide he is the best we've ever seen mad your experience 100 times better and knew each and every tree in the jungle,this place is situated in the jungle not the sahra, so your experience with the conservatory is different and you are literally right with the animals and gives you a full on experience with the wild. We saw all the animals in our 5 days stay. The food they serve is one of the best ever, fresh, and wonderful, everyday something new.
