Connemara's longest established hotel, Foyles has been owned and managed by the Foyle family for nearly a century. The impressive building, which has played host to many famous personalities over the years, has recently been redesigned to the highest modern standards, yet retains much of its old charm and atmosphere. The hotel was top drawer all the way, really lovely and historic and in an ideal location. We were warmly welcome by the manager and the entire staff was great! The breakfasts were delicious in the room was very comfortable. We definitely plan on returning someday.

Fresh baked scones in the morning were lovely!

Just outside the Connemara National Park, this 19th-century hotel has a restaurant, tennis court and free parking and Wi-Fi. Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

Situated on the outskirts of picturesque Connemara National Park, Ben Breen House is a family-run B&B offering modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to Clifden, just a 10-minute drive away. I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

It is a different place but Richard makes you feel very welcome and he wants you to enjoy your stay. Location was great and it had parking. Richard provided a great breakfast and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was wonderful and very comfortable. We had a private bath which was nice

Sylvain & Mary are wonderful generous hosts. They provided a laundry service which was very well priced. Breakfast was superb. You can choose to have dinner there which we did for 1 or our 2 nights. It was superb home cooking & again very reasonably priced. Highly recommend
