This is an amazing property with cute cabins and all the facilities. The pool was nicely kept. The fruit provided from the crop was extra special. All the staff was helpful. Great area but need a vehicle or taxi for access to Sámara. Such a peaceful place to stay. It was nice to hear that this was also funding support for the tree regrowth.

They have created a chic and comfortable oasis in one of the most beautiful parts of Costa Rica. They have thought of every details and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is wonderful. Think of this as "glamping" with lots of extra bells and whistles and creature comforts. Can't recommend highly enough!

Offering free WiFi, Hotel Amira is situated in Carrillo. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to an outdoor swimming pool. The property is non-smoking and is set less than 1 km from Carrillo Beach. We only stayed 1 night and enjoyed the experience. Room was bigger than any other we stayed in, in CR. Breakfast was good and staff were too.

Walk to beach pleasant across mangrove swamp on raised walkway. Owner and staff very pleasant, knowledgeable of area, and helpful. Restaurant area good place to relax during day with a beer or coffee. Not open for dinner although this may be changing. Accommodations very attractive, clean and well maintained although bathroom lighting in our unit at least was inadequate. Good size bathroom with lots of hot water for shower.

All units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a wardrobe. At the hotel every room comes with a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a patio with pool view. Generally quiet, even next to the highway. We were greeted by the owner's two teenage sons. Clearly managers in training. The kitchen beside the pool was well equipped for our breakfast of cold cereal. There is a hot plate and BBQ which we did not try out. Both beds were pushed against the walls. We were able to move the double bed away from the wall and use the side chair so both sides of the bed could have a bedside table of sorts. Towels are thick, soft.and absorbant. Shower is slow to heat but then warm.
